October digital experience insights blog- 2020 surveys launched!

LAUNCHED – 2020 Student, Teaching Staff, Professional service staff and new this year Researcher:

If you have subscribed to our service, you should have received an email with a link to the Getting started form and a spreadsheet containing the survey questions. Please get in touch with us if you haven’t.  Please return your completed form as soon as possible so we can get you up and running your surveys! If you would like to see a demo version of the surveys in Online Survey (aka BOS) please email Ruth.Drysdale@jisc.ac.uk

We are especially keen for you to get in touch with Ruth.Drysdale@jisc.ac.uk if you would like to run the Researcher survey or interested in any collaboration around this topic.

Getting started webinar: 22nd September recording – what is new this year and how to run the surveys   

Hear about what is new this year for the COVID context and how we have adapted the surveys to gather more meaningful data for you to act on immediately. Please get in touch with us in the normal way if you would like to discuss this new pulse survey approach. 2020 Digital experience insights teaching staff reports:

We are currently busy producing these and will publish them in late November on our reports (opens in new window) webpage. Join our community of practice event to hear about the high level findings. The 2020 Professional service staff findings will follow in early 2021.

17th November joint Digital experience insights and Building digital capability community of practice  online conference:

We are pleased to announce registrations are now open for our joint Building digital capability and Digital experience insights community of practice event, taking place online on the 17 November in collaboration with colleagues from the University of Derby.  The event provides an exciting opportunity to hear about the findings from our 2020 digital experience insights teaching staff surveys for HE and FE, with  keynote presentations from the University of Derby and Health Education England.  It provides opportunities for you to share your practices, ideas and issues around:

  • Enhancing student, staff and organisational digital capability, particularly in the current context with a move to more online delivery
  • Approaches to gathering students and staff expectations and experiences of technology in the current changing context

It’s also an opportunity to hear more about our building digital capability and digital experience insights services and understand how these might help you to meet your goals.
